    I hope you’re right that a person with a tough and unhappy past can create a better future for themselves. I still feel rather stuck in the badness and don’t see a brighter future for myself. It’s very tough.

    Buddha is so on point. Thoughts are JUST thoughts but boy can they have an impact on our whole being. DBT has certainly taught me how to regulate my emotions through becoming “aware” and therefor changing my thought pattern. After much practice it certainly has helped.
